Our legend began in 2002, following the founding of our then sponsoring dealership, Shaw Harley-Davidson (now Sykes Harley-Davidson).

Situated near the battleground of the iconic Battle of Hastings (Holmes Hill on the A22), where King Harold of England, perhaps astride a Harley (though historical evidence is as elusive as the king's crown), faced William the Bastard's archers, our chapter’s name was a natural choice.
